Assuming Step 1 goes well and Trailhead Law Corporation is a good fit for your needs, we will provide you with a quote on our expected legal fees and information on how we bill, the timeline we expect to complete your work, and additional information needed from you.
Depending on the matter, we may need to set up another more in-depth call to make sure we collect all the information necessary to complete your matter.

When we hit the signing stage, wherever possible we will utilize e-signature to minimize disruptions to your schedule. If wet-ink signatures are required, we will work with your schedule and preferences to make signing easy.

As much as possible, we try to provide you with a fixed-fee or bundled-package quote, along with an estimate of any disbursements you are likely to incur. If your matter requires us to bill hourly, we will let you know at the outset.
If anything changes along the way, regardless of billing method, we will provide you with an updated quote immediately, so your legal bills will never be a surprise.

We offer free 15-minute discovery calls to learn more about you and what you need help with, and to provide information on the process and fees. During this time, we unfortunately cannot offer legal advice. If you decide to continue with us, we will send you an engagement letter outlining what we will do for you, and then continue with the process we discussed.

While we have access to an office, our preference is to operate as a virtual law firm offering remote operations. This means that we focus on offering remote consultations and meetings in the most convenient times and locations for you, and utilize technology to make the process of getting legal advice hassle-free. Where allowed, we will utilize electronic signatures, so you don’t need to print and scan in any documents.
For documents that require wet-ink signatures, like Real Estate closing documents, we will coordinate with you early to meet in a convenient location or at our office. You’ll be made aware of this process early so that you won’t struggle to find the time to get your deals done.
