Peter Byrne
Lawyer
Peter leads the team at Trailhead Law. He strives to always provide clear advice and simplify processes to minimize the complexity his clients face. Whether this means taking the time to explain complex legal concepts, connecting his clients with other professionals to address all their concerns, or assisting their current team with any anxiety-causing situations, Peter is there for his clients.
His experience includes:
advising on and closing a wide range of real estate transactions, from first-time homebuyers and pre-sale condo units to multi-step commercial transactions involving dozens of tenants and purchase prices in the 8+ figures;
assisting both landlords and tenants on leasing transactions in both the residential and commercial contexts;
advising and implementing estate plans, from simple wills, powers of attorney and representation agreements to complex plans with a variety of trusts; and
incorporating new companies and assisting businesses with governance, contract review, and corporate transactions.
He is a founder of Appara Real Estate, a legal tech product focused on improving conveyancing, and holds a BCom specializing in Real Estate from UBC and a JD from Western University. Previously, he practiced at a national firm in Vancouver, primarily in the commercial real estate group.
Peter spends his free time spoiling his golden retriever, Murphy (or getting in trouble from his wife for making their dog fat), and can often be found commiserating over the Canucks or checking out the newest craft breweries around town.
